I’m completely addicted to Pinterest and ran across this adorable idea for dog food storage. Right now I have a crumpled bag sitting on the floor of my office really messing up the fung shui.
Just dig up one of those huge popcorn tins you bought from the boyscouts last year or hit the garage sales to find one. Spray paint it your favorite color and then decorate. You could get some cute pre-made stencils from Simply Said or make your own with this nifty stencil cutter the Silhouette Cameo Cutter. If you are really artistic you could just paint your own decorations or how about having the kids hand prints and your dogs paw print… I’d do THAT outside of course..

Thanks TidyMom for the great idea! Smaller Sizes would work great on the countertop for dog treats too.
Here’s another Popcorn tin DIY Dog Food Container with a fancy handle for the top.. Now that’s a great idea! I always growl when I break a nail trying to get the can open as I have a wiggly lab pup anxiously waiting for me…

Ball Jars make great dog treat storage to sit on the counter. I haven’t done anything fancy with my jars, but this is a cute idea…

What do you think? Will you give any of these cute project a try? A smaller size would work great for the cat food too.
This Dog Food Tin using Chalk Board Paint is another great DIY project to store your dog food using one of those popcorn tins. I bet you wish you hadn’t gotten rid of all of them now.
Thanks for including my mason jars!
